Gallerý fiskur was owned and operated by father Ásmundur and son Kristófer, and their families. The adventure began in January 1994 when Ásmundur bought the fish shop and was joined shortly later by Kristófer. In 2002, after 8 years of being fishmongers they opened Gallerý fiskur restaurant in the adjoining commerical space.
All the time fish was the main focus of the menu althougu meat and vegan cuisine had made its way on to the menu because when all is said and sone its all food.
The restaurant and the fish shop closed their buisnesse in the end of March 2022. We like to thank all of our customers for their contibution to our life and experience.
